Catalina 34 MK1 - With walk through transom and 1.3m shoal draft

With two good sized double cabins, this model features one of the most desirable layouts that you find in a yacht of this size. The aft cabin has a queen size bed and great ventilation with a number of opening hatches. The forward cabin has a V-berth that converts from two singles into a double. The table in the saloon can also be dropped down to create another double should the need arise. The bathroom is a generous size, and has a very practical layout with a head and a separate shower seat.

The L-shaped galley is well equipped with a top quality Smev three burner stove with oven, grill and a rotisserie. There is an under bench eutectic fridge.

She recently participated in the cruising division of the last Fremantle to Bali race. She then cruised Indonesia and the Kimberley's before returning home to Fremantle.

In 1990 Catalina introduced a number of changes to the 34. Gradually, many changes were incorporated that were later to characterize the Mark II. The walk-through transom was one of the most significant changes. The last of the MK l models look very similar to the MK ll's.
